Facilities
Streamline Automation has facilities to support the research and development interests of our diverse staff of scientists and engineers houses in a 15,000 sqft. office and workshop space in Chelsea Industrial Park adjacent to Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL.
The facilities are set up to support project work, and include:
Chemistry laboratory with a 6-foot wide fume hood and UV / Vis spectrophotometer centrifuges, including a floor-standing model for processing large samples.
Projects lab for assembly, rework, and testing of electronic circuits.
Electronics lab for assembly, rework, and testing of electronic circuits.
Machine Shop equipped for small-scale part fabrication. The shop includes a 5-axis mill and a gap-bed lathe. Our machining capabilities enable rapid turnaround of custom-designed parts and finish machining of laser cut and rapid prototype parts.
Workshop area is available for the assembly of larger systems. This area has more than 4,000 sqft. of space available.
Our biology and chemistry labs are well-equipped for performing experimental work. The biology lab is equipped with PCR and electrophoresis systems for working with DNA. An incubator is available to support microbiology experiments. We have several centrifuges available that range in size from microliter tubes to a floor standing model that can accept liter tubes. The chemistry laboratory includes spectrometers and equipment for working with a variety of chemicals, including rocket propellants.
